Privacy Notice
Information and purposes
We collect contact and shipping details, account verification and login information, uploaded models, quote selections, project notes, pricing approvals, and transaction history to review requests and fulfill orders. Passwords are stored as hashes. Service credentials remain server-side. Do not place payment-card details or passwords in project notes.
Essential storage
An HttpOnly session cookie supports sign-in. Browser IndexedDB holds a selected model and quote draft for navigation and submission. A session-only preference cookie and session storage record your privacy choice for the current browser session. Browser session restoration may retain session storage until it is cleared. Security challenges, request limits, and account records support abuse prevention and operation. Essential order reports use business records; choosing essentials only does not stop records necessary to process your request.
Optional traffic analytics
Optional analytics begin only after you choose Opt-In. We record a random browser-session identifier, visited page paths without query strings, referring hostname or campaign source, view counts, and recent activity times. These reports cover consenting traffic and cannot identify every visitor or referral source. Raw traffic records are pruned after 90 days during collection, with an additional 50,000-record capacity limit. We do not send these events to a third-party advertising platform. Global Privacy Control suppresses this tracker.
Your choices
Use Privacy preferences at the bottom of the site to change your choice. Essentials only stops future optional analytics and clears the current browser analytics identifier. It does not automatically erase earlier server records, which age out under retention limits. Closing the nonblocking notice sets essentials only for this session; leaving it open also keeps optional analytics off. It appears in the bottom-right corner and never limits page access. Browser settings can block or clear storage, although doing so may affect sign-in and saved drafts.
IP addresses and security
Where a trusted hosting proxy is configured, the latest address used at registration, login, or quote submission may be retained with the account for security and access controls. A banned email or recorded IP may remain in a restricted-access ban list until reviewed and unbanned. IP addresses can be shared or change; they are not proof of identity. Hosting providers may separately maintain technical access logs under their own policies.
Providers and disclosures
Hosting, transactional email, shipping-rate services, invoicing/payment providers, and Etsy may process information needed for their services. Shipping-rate requests can include destination location and package characteristics. Etsy links lead to Etsy’s own privacy practices. We may disclose information when necessary to comply with law, address fraud or safety concerns, or resolve a transaction dispute. This site’s optional tracker does not sell analytics records or perform cross-site targeted advertising.
Retention, requests and account deletion
Account and quote records remain until removed under our business processes or a valid request, subject to transaction, accounting, dispute, and legal retention needs. Deleting an account removes its login/profile record but may preserve historical quote/order records and a limited deletion audit. Deleted quote references remain reserved to prevent reuse. Backups and provider logs may have separate retention. Applicable rights and response requirements depend on the circumstances and governing law.
Children, security and updates
Direct registration and ordering are intended for adults. We do not knowingly request children’s personal information for independent accounts. No online system can guarantee perfect security, but we use access controls, password hashing, and server-side restrictions to protect records. Contact us promptly about suspected misuse. We may update this notice to reflect actual practices and will seek additional consent where required for materially different optional processing.
Newsletter choices
Newsletter enrollment requires an explicit opt-in. Guests confirm their email before enrollment. Subscribers may unsubscribe from their profile or the link in every newsletter without signing in. Unsubscribing immediately suppresses queued newsletters; messages already accepted by an email provider cannot be recalled. Account and quote notifications continue because they support requested services.
